Poggenpohl expects its kitchens to work faultlessly for decades after installation. So from our drawer runners to door hinges, we build our kitchens to last. At our production facility in Herford, Germany, we aim for unsurpassed quality in every detail, down to the smooth, seamless hand-finish on doors and surfaces.

Poggenpohl has been making kitchens since 1892, and our worldwide reputation is based on our refusal to accept anything other than the best, whether in materials or workmanship. At our factory in Herford, East-Westphalia, we combine the best of traditional craftsmanship with the precision of modern engineering. All our kitchens are carefully crafted and inspected before being despatched around the world to their new owners. Many of our craftsmen and women learned their skills as apprentices and now in turn pass their experience and knowledge on to the next generation of Poggenpohl craftspeople.
Proven durability
Our drawers are renowned for their strength and the ability to withstand a lifetime of hard use. The materials we use to create them are enormously strong, as are the jointing techniques we employ. Even the concealed runners beneath the drawer use roller bearings instead of ball bearings, as this means longer life and a smoother glide for years longer than an ordinary drawer. Every aspect of a Poggenpohl kitchen reveals the same perfectionist approach.
Our service promise
When a customer takes delivery of a Poggenpohl kitchen that’s the beginning, not the end of the relationship. We provide a personalized service card which is our clients’ passport to our support and care. It’s the customer’s proof that we have all the details of their kitchen on record so that in the future any additional cabinets or replacement components can be provided via their Poggenpohl studio.
